BookFlix is an online literacy resource that pairs classic fictional video storybooks from Weston Woods with related nonfiction ebooks from Scholastic to build a love of reading and learning. You will need your library card number to access BookFlix.
When you log onto the Ohio Digital Library with your library card number and PIN, simply click on Kids to access seemingly endless audiobooks, ebooks, read along storybooks, and graphic novels.
The SAG-AFTRA Foundation’s award-winning children’s literacy website, Storyline Online, features videos of well-known actors reading children’s books alongside creatively produced illustrations. Access to this site does not require a library card.
The Day By Day Ohio Family Literacy Calendar is a tool that families and caregivers can use that features songs, activities, book suggestions, and videos. It offers resources to further develop early literacy skills and prepare for lifelong learning. This wonderful site is made possible by the State Library of Ohio and Ohio Ready to Read.
