Willkommen, Teen Travelers for an evening of Bavarian music and treats, while you paint you own nutcracker! Beginning in the 18th century, the nutcracker in German homes was a symbol of good luck, and it was typical to have one tiny soldier on the mantle to protect the property and its household. So, join us at the Franklin Library and celebrate this decades-long tradition with a beloved little German icon.
