In this Pilates class you will learn basic Pilates principles, how to change your posture to improve pain syndromes, strengthen the entire body and core muscles, and improve your flexibility.  Please bring a yoga mat and water bottle.  All levels and abilities are welcome.

Join us at the Franklin Library for a free hour-long class of yoga and meditation suitable for all levels.  Our certified instructor will guide you through a gentle and invigorating yoga practice that involves movement, breathing techniques, and meditation.  Chairs are available for those who need to modify positions.

Is there a long distance hike on the Appalachian Trail or other long trail in your future but you're not sure where to start?  Andy Niekamp from Outdoor Adventure Connection will give you the knowledge and confidence to plan a long distance hike.  You'll learn planning skills about gear, clothing, food planning, resupply methods, shuttles, long-term parking, trail safety, hostels, smartphone apps, guidebooks, maps, trail magic, and more.  Learn some basic resources and tips to get you started on planning your hike whether it is a week-long hike or months-long hike.

Have you always wanted to try Pilates but didn't know where to start?  Then Beginner Pilates is for you!  Increase strength, flexibility, and mobility while toning your body.

The 2023 Next Destination Speaker series is cohosted by the Franklin-Springboro Public Library and the City of Springboro's Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC).  All programs begin at 6:30 p.m.  Presentation length is approximately 60 minutes with time for questions and answers.  No registration is required.

Parents of young children (ages birth through five) are invited to a special event at the library. Learn about simple and fun daily practices that will help your little ones get ready to read! 

The event will feature a presentation from the children's librarians, time to peruse informational early literacy stations, light refreshments, and a gift!

It will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 26 at the Franklin Library.
