Coretta Scott King Award Books

Coretta Scott King Medal The Coretta Scott King Award was named in honor of Mrs. Coretta Scott King, wife of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The award is designed to commemorate the life and works of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and to encourage the artistic expression of the African American experience via literature and the graphic arts by African American authors and illustrators.
