A Healing Hike on the Buckeye Trail

After CW Spencer lost his kid brother Dave to suicide - the second suicide of a close family member within five years - he began his 1,444-mile hike on Ohio's Buckeye Trail.  He followed that with his book, Hiking Without Dave.  Join CW as he walks that journey again, this time with words and photos.  Share laughter and maybe a tear or two as you come along on his journey of hope and healing.

CW resides in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, with his wife Bonnie.  As much as he enjoyed the outdoor nature walks with his middle school science students before he retired from teaching, it is no surprise that he now loves to hike the scenic paths and back roads of the Buckeye Trail.  Sometimes he even talks Bonnie into joining him.

Books available for purchase.  Open Seating.
