Michigan Historical Society Author and Storyteller Mike Fornes presents...


A multimedia, musical program of storytelling behind the lyrics and music of Gordon Lightfoot.

Mike Fornes will take the audience on a visual, acoustic trip from the Great Lakes to the Canadian Rockies; through the pains of lost loves and haunting melodies.  Featuring the hit songs, "Sundown," "Beautiful," "Carefree Highway," "Rainy Day People," "If You Could Read My Mind," "The Wreck of The Edmund Fitzgerald" and more.

Gordon Lightfoot CDs, Mike Fornes' Great Lakes Books and Edmund Fitzgerald memorabilia will be available for purchase.
